Orthodox Service from the Heart

College Youth Mission is our mission outreach arm. In partnership with HOPE and OCCM, the SUS Diocese College Youth Mission plans an annual mission trip where youth participate in ministry efforts and bring many encouragements from this ministry back to their local parish and OCCM chapter.

Service Trip to Egypt 2024

Our service trip to Egypt will be dedicated to various services in the Diocese of Elminya, a children's camp at St. Mark's Village, and the Second Chance program at Anafora. We will visit holy and ancient sites immersing ourselves in our Coptic roots, and enjoy the culture at some hangout spots! Find all the details in the Trip Information Packet (TIP).

Trip Location: Egypt
Trip Dates: June 10-28, 2024 (must arrive by Monday, June 10, to start our itinerary on June 11)
Trip Cost: $850.00

Included in the cost: Accommodations throughout our trip and travel within Egypt, meals, and transportation
Not included in the cost: Airfare, a $25 Tourist Visa for non-Egyptian nationals, and spending money for snacks and miscellaneous meals

Important Dates

February 4, 2024 - Registration opens at 4 pm EST. A 50% deposit ($425) is required upon registering.
March 17, 2024 - Remaining 50% balance due ($425)

Participation is open to university students—in undergrad and professional schools. There are 19 spots available for this trip.
